Rules & Regulations to be observed in the College

*The College of Nursing prepares Nurses to become  exemplary citizens by adhering to code of professional conduct at all times in fulfilling personal and professional obligations.

 *Every student admitted to the B.sc Nursing Course  / Post Basic Nursing Course  or any other course, shall have to follow rules and regulations of the Nursing College strictly.

*The students  are  responsible for their behavior, both in and outside the Campus.

*All decisions taken by the Management are final.

*Students are required to be regular and punctual  in the class.

*Students are required to maintain discipline and not indulge in any bad incident whatsoever.

*Students are  not allowed to keep blades, knives, and other like items with them. 

*Any damage in the laboratory/department or institute caused  by the student,  cost thereof   shall have to pay by the student concerned  immediately.

*Admission fee once deposited will be non- refundable and non- transferable.

*Admission fee, training fee and tuition fee of whole session is to be deposited/completed at the time of  admission .

*The students have to ensure   to enter classes  in time  with  Identity Card, proper Uniform. Girls  are not allowed to enter classes  in any fancy dress, make up, nail polish, puff hair style or in any uneven action  which  may cause inconvenience in maintaining the discipline of the institution keeping in view the co-education conditions. 

*The management or Principal of the institution shall be at liberty to amend or add any term and condition   at any point of time,  if required.    

*The list of Holidays and off days shall be notified by the College authorities separately.

*The students have to give an affidavit duly registered in the Court of law at the time of admission in College to the effect  that they are not on the rolls of any institution or working in any Govt./semi Govt. department and that they shall not claim for returning of original documents  till the training period is over. Besides, they shall have to deposit the entire fee of the full period of training in case any of the students shall leave the training half way at any point of time.   

*Dress Code

*Students have to attend College in proper Uniform on all working days. The  

 uniform color shall be selected by the Management/Principal  from time to time.

*Students are required to carry their Identity Cards with them during College Hours, in  clinical  centers  etc.

*Attendance requirement

*Regular and punctual attendance in all class activities like lectures, demonstrations, practical, clinical teaching, tutorials, tests etc. is compulsory.   

*The students shall have to participate in college activities like clinical meetings, conferences, guest lectures, seminars as well as sports and cultural activities etc.

*A candidate must have 80% attendance in theory in each subject for appearing in examination.

*A candidate must have 100% attendance in each of the practical.

*No student shall be allowed to appear in the annual examination of the concerned subject if his/her theory and practical attendance is less than 80% of the total sessions.

*Permission for leave or absence from the classes shall have to be taken from the teachers before hand.

*In case of illness or any emergency at home, permission to remain away from class  shall have to be obtained from the Principal.

*The students should abstain from remaining away from classes and unauthorized absence will be viewed seriously and liable for action/punishment and have to do make up duties before going for final examination.

*Clinical training

*The students are required to be in clinical area as per their course plan.  Selected field trips will be arranged to different community agencies as per Course plan.  Well equipped hospitals with all advanced facilities and specialties, covering all departments  like medicine, surgery, gynecology, pediatrics etc.  shall be made available.
